Alliance Portfolio is committed to making its website accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

Our approach

Alliance Portfolio is working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and continues to review the website as content and technology change.

Accessibility features

The website is built with the following in place:

  • a skip link to the main content at the top of every page
  • keyboard-accessible navigation, menus, carousels and forms
  • visible keyboard focus on links and controls
  • semantic page structure with landmarks and a logical heading order
  • alternative text for meaningful images, with decorative images marked as such
  • color contrast intended to meet WCAG AA for text
  • responsive layouts that reflow on phones, tablets and at browser zoom
  • form fields with visible labels, clear required indicators and inline error messages announced to assistive technology
  • reduced-motion support, so entrance animation and carousels stay still when your system asks for reduced motion
  • a cookie notice and information panel that is keyboard operable and announced to screen readers

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review new pages and features as they are added, retest the website periodically, and address issues as we find them or as they are reported to us.
